I’m extremely pleased with how this brand new nested set of bowls turned out; and I hope you’ll agree.

They were all made from the wood lurking within the largest bowl and oriented just as you see them in these photographs. The grain matches from the smallest bowl all the way through to the largest one.

The wood is a beautiful Black Ash burl that’s flawless with very tight eyes and beautiful coloration. Black Ash Burl is an historically significant wood used by Native American Indians and settlers for their bowls and treenware. It’s harvested from Maine to Minnesota and is becoming very rare.

These bowls are a delight to hold with a lovely texture and well proportioned shapes and weight. All have the same banded rim which I adjusted to match the bowl size. The bowls are numbered from one to seven with number “1 of 7” being the largest.

They are offered only as a set and are available for $5000.00. This price includes insured delivery anywhere in North America.
